About Me
Being from New York City, I have grown up very exposed to everything the world has to offer. I lived in an apartment on the upper East-Side of NYC and took the subway and metro-north railroad to and from school each day. I attended Fordham Preparatory Highschool in the Bronx. During my time at the Prep, I was a member of many different clubs, teams, and activities. I was the President of the Prep's Outdoor Adventure Club, played football and baseball all four years I was there, and helped run the student tutor program at the Prep which I then passed down to my brother. One of my favorite memories I have at the Prep was during our last football game against our rival school Xavier. The game was hard fought on both sides of the ball and with :37 seconds left on the clock Patrick Keeley, a junior at the time, and myself made the game winning stop on 4th down on the 1-yard line. Since then anytime I think back on my time in highschool I always remember my friends and family that I met along the way and the values the Prep instilled in me. I have always believed that the best way to be prepared is to sit down and look at almost every possible outcome and play into my own or my teammates strengths. I also think back to a quote from the Office which is a tv series that I watched when I was younger. The quote was made by the character Jo Bennet and she said, "can you be proud of the work you did today and stamp your name on it?" I often think back on this quote whenever I am completing a task or assignment in order to motivate me to doing my best and not just submitting something I put no effort into. Overall I still think that I have many areas of growth like procrastination or laziness, but my strengths of determination and accountability are what lead me to be great.
